When I started developing Anforh in 2021, one idea kept coming back to me: it all comes down to what’s in the bottle.

After more than 12 years online -  testing and reviewing products, and talking to you about what works - and what doesn’t - I knew this had to be different. It had to be considered. Clean. Honest.

Yes, I work in a visual space with Man For Himself. I know the power of good branding, sharp design, and shelf appeal. But when it comes down to it, grooming is about how something makes you feel - not just how it looks. That’s where the Anforh ethos was born:

The Design: What You See

Working with my designer, we stripped it all right back.

Every part of the packaging has been chosen with purpose.

The blue glass bottles of Texture Volume Spray do more than look good (though they absolutely do). They offer UV protection, helping to preserve the integrity of the formula inside. The atomiser spray was also a serious consideration. I wanted something that provided a fine mist and coated the hair gently. 

The blue PET bottles used for Texture Shampoo and Conditioning Treatment are shower-safe, durable, and recyclable - made with 30% ocean-prevented post-consumer recycled plastic, collected from coastal regions to stop plastic from reaching the sea. The design keeps your bathroom clean and minimal, with packaging that performs as well as the product inside.

 

The labels are also minimal by design.

  • And a QR code linking you to a Quick Start Guide - updated regularly as I hear from you about how you’re using the products. This is a community, and what you share will help others get the best out of their routine too.

The Formulas: What You Feel

Every formula has been built to work hard, feel good, and add real value to your routine. 

Texture Volume Spray

This is your styling base - adding weightless volume with a natural, reworkable hold.

Key ingredients include:

  • Epsom Salt (Magnesium Sulphate) & Sea Salt (Sodium Chloride) - boost volume, texture, and lift at the roots.
  • Coffee Extract - rich in antioxidants to help repair damage and support thicker, healthier-looking hair.
  • Aloe Vera - calms the scalp and hydrates the hair fibre.
  • Sandalwood Hydrolat - soothes the scalp and helps calm irritation, promoting a balanced scalp environment.
  • Witch Hazel - balances oil production and soothes the scalp.
  • Sea Kelp Extract - supports scalp health and strengthens hair.
  • Meadowfoam Seed Oil - conditions lightly without any greasy feel.

Together, this blend creates fullness and grip without stickiness or crunch. It’s perfect for fine, flat, or thinning hair and can be used daily. 

 

Texture Shampoo

I created this because I can’t stand how my hair feels after using shampoo. Too soft. Too fluffy. Too hard to style.

This shampoo cleanses while adding natural grip and structure, thanks to:

  • Kaolin Clay & Bentonite - gently remove excess oil and build-up, enhancing texture and supporting natural shape.
  • Glycerin & Betaine - attract and retain moisture, keeping hair soft and scalp balanced.
  • Aloe Vera - soothes the scalp and helps reduce dryness.
  • Dead Sea Salt - opens the hair cuticle to boost natural volume and grip.
  • Coffee Extract - supports thicker, healthier-looking hair with antioxidant-rich caffeine.
  • Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5) - smooths the hair cuticle and helps reduce frizz and breakage.

Hair feels fresh, clean, and ready to style - even straight out of the shower. 

 

Conditioning Treatment

This is your once-a-week reset. It hydrates, smooths, and strengthens without ever feeling heavy or greasy.

What’s inside:

  • Plant-Based Keratin (Hydrolysed Vegetable Protein) - helps support the hair’s natural structure for stronger, healthier-looking hair.
  • Argan Oil - smooths, softens, and adds subtle shine without greasiness.
  • Shea Butter & Coconut Oil - deeply nourish and condition the hair, leaving it soft and manageable.
  • Panthenol (Provitamin B5) – improves elasticity and locks in moisture to reduce frizz and split ends.
  • Sea Buckthorn Oil - rich in antioxidants to boost overall hair health and vitality.
  • Coffee Extract - supports scalp and hair condition with antioxidant protection.
  • Kaolin & Bentonite Clays - help clarify the scalp and promote natural texture, without heaviness.

Use it as a conditioner after shampooing if needed, or leave it in longer for a more intensive treatment. It’s there to bring tired hair back to life.
