When I heard descriptions of the fragrances, I thought for sure that I was going to be a Kist or an Aire person. I tried the three of them on skin and then the magic happened: my chosen potion was Sorn! At first sniff, it actually scared me a little, but some minutes later it merged with my skin and the result was pure, sexy beauty.
I was dissapointed as my bottle wasn't full also I felt the notes were misleading. I pick up DS & Durga Leatherize and don't get any whisky notes or amber notes. Another disappointing thing is in Anforh I paid $30 to ship to the US and not 1-2 samples which is bad business.

To address your points: all bottles are hand-filled in our Edinburgh studio, and I can confirm that each one is filled to the correct 30ml level. The bottle itself isn’t filled to the very top by design, but I understand how that could be confusing.
On the scent - Sorn is its own composition, and scent will always land differently for different people. Some immediately pick up the whisky and amber notes, while others don’t. That’s the subjective nature of fragrance.
As I mentioned in your other review, we do offer a Discovery Set so people can try the fragrance before committing to a full-size bottle. You chose to skip that and go straight for the 30ml - which I appreciate, but it does come with the risk of not knowing how something will wear.
The $30 shipping cost reflects the fact that fragrance is classed as a dangerous good, and must be shipped as such from our Edinburgh studio. It’s not about padding profit, it’s just the cost of doing things properly as a small, independent brand.
It always stings to receive a negative review, but I know it comes from care. I’ll take your feedback on board as I keep building.

It certainly starts strong with the top note reminding one of bourbon or some bold dark liquor. The dry down gives way to old leathern, warn and warm by someone who cared for it greatly. It's a smell that takes one to a smokey bar on a dark winter's night. It lasts a long time and maintains a beautiful smell.
I love leather and patchouli fragrances and from the notes profile, thought this would be one for me.
The initial spray leaves you with a dirty (not in a bad way) leather intense note. As it dries down the leather gives way to an earthy patchouli scent that then mellows back to a woody and softer leather tone. After the dry down, it leaves a slightly sweeter note that remains.
This is definitely a dark, earthy leather scent for the colder months.
